Exporters, Traders, Importers, or Banks

essDOCS has three customer variants based on their actions within the essDOCS ecoSystem.

Line/NVOCC Customers/Warehouse

These customers handle all operational matters related to Lines / NVOCC to issue an eBoL and receive the surrendered eBoL back through essDOCS Customer API. Customers under this category are also referred to as Issuers.

Documentation Creation Customers

These customer types are exporters, multinational companies, terminals, etc., to import data from various systems to generate or collate shipping/trading documents. This type of customer includes exporters or multi-national corporations, including oil terminals, refineries, and independent storage terminals.

Data Retrieval Customers

This type of customer majorly focuses on downloading documents and source data using the available endpoints. This type of customer includes exporters or multi-national corporations, including oil terminals, refineries, and independent storage terminals.
